November Favourites

This post is a little different from what I usually write about, but I looove reading about what people have been loving so I thought I’d give it a go. So here’s a v random collection of my favourite things from the past few weeks.

Body Shop Vitamin E Toner

If I’m honest, I don’t really know what toner does for your skin, but I’ve heard it’s important so I just use it (#logic). I’ve always found this step in my skincare routine a bit meh, but this Vitamin E Toner from the Body Shop has made toning my skin my favourite part. It smells amazing and it leaves my skin feeling super clean and moisturised, so it must be doing something good.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo

I actually bought this cream because Zoella (a super popular content creator) recommended it in one of her favourites videos. I’d never heard of the brand before, but when she said it was great at reducing marks on the skin from past blemishes, I knew I had to try it out. Marks on my skin always seem to take ages to disappear completely so I was really keen to see if this product would help at all. I’ve only been using it for about a month and a half, but my skin is already SO much clearer. I’ve been applying a thin layer of it underneath my normal moisturiser every morning and evening and it’s really made a noticeable difference.

I kinda forgot how amazing earrings are. Because statement earrings are a thing now, I’ve bought some really cute pairs over the past few weeks and I absolutely love wearing them. Because my outfits are usually pretty plain, earrings are such a great way to add interest and something a little different. They also make me feel more put together for some reason, which is always good thing.

Stranger Things

I know I’m VERY late to the party but holy moly, Stranger Things is beyond brilliant. When the first season came out last year, I didn’t watch it because I thought it would freak me out and give me nightmares – I’m a wimp when it comes to anything scary. But then Luke watched it himself and told me that I would actually really enjoy it. As the second season release date got closer, I decided I’d give it a shot and OMG I’m so glad I did. It has to be one of my favourite TV shows ever – I just love everything about it. Also, we enjoyed the second season even more than the first which is pretty damn impressive. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favour and just watch it!

Christmas music (and everything Christmas related really)

Anyone who knows me well understands that I have a deep love for anything and everything Christmas related. While many people moan and groan about Christmas decorations up in the malls before October is even finished – I’m always super duper excited because it means I can let my excitement show and play Christmas music at any opportunity that I get. Wheee! If I’m totally honest, I’m usually listening to Michael Buble’s Christmas album before well before November… which is why Christmas music (specifically Buble’s extended Christmas album) just had to be on this list. I freaking love it!

I hope you’ve all had a great November. What have you been loving lately?
